I bought this book to encourage my little niece to read. I loved that she was so excited that the main character looked like her. Great story! Great messagel Great book!

My daughter loves that this book was written by a little girl just like her! What an inspiration. The book is a great little introduction to several different careers family members can have, and who doesn't love superheroes!? Great for both read-aloud or beginning readers.

I was inspired by this little author and bought this for my friend's daughter. It is so important for kids to see themselves in books and as heroes. I never had that growing up. She loved it and was so excited to have a book with a brown girl like me.
